Hotel Sonnleiten, Bruck am Ziller – Wörgl – Niederau – Hintersteinersee – Ellmau – St. Johann in Tirol – Erpfendorf – Walchsee – Oberaudorf – Sudelfeld – Ursprungpass (840 m) – Thiersee – Mariastein – Rheintalersee – Hotel Sonnleiten, Bruck am Ziller

We started at the Hotel Sonnleiten in Bruck am Ziller going out of the valley. On the B171 we head in the direction of Wörgl, where we drive via the beautiful Wildschönau to the Hintersteiner See, which is one of the filming locations for the well-known series “Der Bergdoktor” for a reason.

We rode out of the valley towards Ellmau, past St. Johann through Erpfendorf. Our route then leads past the next lake – the Walchsee, which invites you to swim at the foot of the famous Kaiser Mountains.

From the Inn Valley, we now wind our way up an approx. 10 km long Tatzelwurm mountain route to the Sudelfeld – who wants to make a detour to the Speckalm or Walleralm – for a snack with a wonderful view of the Kaisergebirge and the Wendelstein.

We rode back to Tyrol via the Ursprungpass (840 m) . We drive past the beautiful Thiersee via the villages back into the Zillertal to the Hotel Sonnleiten.
