While there are promises of drinks and food is included in the entire fee, sometimes that meal isn’t truly that fantastic. And while guests are going to expect to see the ocean from their hotel room, sometimes that’s not what happens at all.

Florblanca Resort

The Florblanca Resort has 380 reviews on Trip Advisor and is located in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. There are many five-star reviews for this all-inclusive resort and there have been many delighted tourists who have loved staying here. People love that you can practice Pilates and yoga here, and the ambience is both beachy and also a jungle vibe, which is beautiful. According to the hotel website, a one-bedroom villa is $600/night.

This all-inclusive resort has it all, from hammocks for complete relaxation to being directly on the beach. There is a spa where you can get massages, vegan meals if you have food allergies or dietary restrictions, and one reviewer even mentioned they created their friend a birthday cake from scratch.

According to one reviewer, “You will not find a better or more gorgeous beach resort experience anywhere else in Costa Rica than at Playa Hermosa. There was a high level of professionalism among the employees, who were also really accommodating.” They were given the opportunity to stay in the Honeymoon Suite and commented, “It was just fantastic. The home is a two-story structure with big open rooms and windows facing the sand.”

This outstanding evaluation of the meals at this resort definitely makes you want to plan a trip right away: “We would recommend the Arugula Omelette for breakfast, the Ahi Salad for lunch, and the catch of the day for supper, among other things. All of the food is delicious, and there is nothing to dislike about it.”

Tulemar Resort

A “2019 Travelers Choice” on Trip Advisor, this is another wonderful selection for an all-inclusive resort in Costa Rica. Tulemar Resort has the most reviews out of any hotel on the web (2,159) and is the number one “Best Value among 29 All-Inclusive Resorts in Costa Rica.” A one-bedroom dubbed the Mot Mot Hideaway costs $195/night if you stay here from the end of August through mid-November and prices vary at different periods of the year.

The resort is on the Manuel Antonio coast and you can stay in Buena Vista Luxury Villas that feature one, two, and three bedrooms. There are many different sorts of villas besides bungalows. Because this is located in the jungle, it’s hard to beat its setting.

Tulemar Resort is also worth the price for the views. The reviewer who took the photo above from his room wrote the following: “My family’s short but wonderful two-night stay at Tule Villa was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we will cherish forever. The vistas from this three-story, five-bedroom home are really breathtaking..” He added, “Besides the breathtaking views of the sunrise and the sunset on the water, it was fantastic to witness the wildlife while sipping our drinks.”

Another reviewer writes that they observed monkeys during their time here and that the cuisine at TuleCafe is wonderful. Another lover of the resort noted that they came here with their family and their seven and five-year-old children enjoyed seeing the hummingbirds, sloths, and other creatures.

TuleCafe serves breakfast, lunch, happy hour, and dinner. For breakfast, guests can have everything from Homemade Fresh Crepes and Mango to French Toast and the “Tico Breakfast” which contains “Fresh made gallo pinto, 2 eggs served any manner, fried sweet plantains, sour cream, avocado, and fresh tortillas.”
