Head of Corporate Partnerships & Fundraising
Job Description
Are you a passionate fundraiser? Do you have a proven track record of generating leads and closing sales in the technology sector? Or closing sponsorship deals in the charity sector? Are you keen to have a big social impact and to work for one of the most exciting and fastest growing technology charities in the UK?
We are now looking for a new Head of Corporate Partnerships & Fundraising, to help us successfully grow our different income streams and to create a long-term sustainable business model. We are looking for somebody who is a great fundraiser, but is also inspired by the concept of Apps for Good and the vision of empowering young people through technology to solve their own problems and contribute to the communities around them.
You will need the ability to operate in a fast-moving environment, to be very effective in identifying income sources and partnerships that are aligned with our mission and to execute relentlessly. In return, you will work with a passionate and vibrant team that is working hard to grow our social impact exponentially.
Desired Skills & Experience
* Min 4-6 years experience in a sales, fundraising, business development or account management capacity
* Track record in generating leads and closing deals of £100,000+ per deal
* Ability to effectively manage a small fundraising team
* Excellent command of written and spoken English (to mother-tongue level)
* Strong understanding of trends & opportunities in the technology, media, and telecoms sectors
* Ideally strong established network of contacts in the technology, media, and telecoms sectors
In order to effectively fulfil your responsibilities you will also need to have the ability to:
* Proactively identify and qualify corporate partnership leads and turn them into partnerships
* Manage relationships and ensure high satisfaction levels amongst corporate partners
* Create a long-term viable income strategy and business model aligned with CDI’s core mission
* Closely work with other departments and ensure that realistic and achievable services are sold
