Rodrigo Baggio, (Chairman) CDI Global, Chairman and Founder
In 1995, Rodrigo a technology consultant from Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) had a dream about poor children using computers to discuss their realities and solve their problems. Deeply moved by the dream, he set out to make it a reality. He founded the Committee for Democracy in Information Technology now CDI and opened the first school. Rodrigo has been named by the World Economic Forum as one of “100 Global Leaders for Tomorrow” and by Time Magazine as one of the 50 leaders in Latin America that will make a difference in the third millennium.
Kevin Eyres, (Independant Lead Trustee) Technology entrepreneur, angel investor
Kevin Eyres recently left LinkedIn as CEO Europe after a highly successful IPO. In 18 months he grew LinkedIn in Europe from 1 employee to 300 employees. Before joining LinkedIn he ran a learning disability company and also worked for AltaVista and Compaq Computers. He is now a tech angel investor and is also responsible for talent development at Techcity, the No.10 government initiative promoting the technology sector in the UK.
Reinhard Gorenfloss, (Treasurer) Kohlberg Kravis & Roberts (KKR), Managing Partner Europe
Reinhard Gorenflos joined KKR in 2001 and oversees KKR’s energy activities in Europe. Prior to joining KKR he was CFO of ARAL AG, the leading German petrol station chain, and prior to this held various executive management positions. He holds a degree in Economics from Freiburg University, Germany and an M.P.A., John McCloy Academic Scholar, from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government. He has also been named by the World Economic Forum as one of “100 Global Leaders for Tomorrow”.
Lord Jim Knight of Weymouth, (Trustee)
Lord Knight is a former Labour cabinet minister and was Schools Minister during the last government. He is highly respected across all parties and in the education sector. Today, Jim not only sits on the IT Policy Committee in the House of Lords, but also acts as an advisor for Apple on education policy and The Times Education Resources (TSL Education), the world’s largest teacher lesson material database.
Charles Leadbeater, (Trustee) Writer and Consultant
In 2005 Charles was ranked by Accenture, the management consultancy, as one of the top management thinkers in the world. A past winner of the prestigious David Watt prize for journalism, Charles is a leading authority on innovation and creativity and has advised companies, cities and governments around the world on innovation strategy. He wrote the first British report on the rise of social entrepreneurship and works as advisor to the Department for Education’s Innovation Unit on future strategies for more networked and personalised approaches to learning and education.
Mauricio Davila, (Trustee) CDI Global, Director CDI Consulting
Mauricio is both a social entrepreneur and international executive with more than a decade of leadership experience in both the private and social sector. Prior to joining CDI in 2007 as executive director for CDI Europe, Mauricio co-founded Discovering Latin America, aimed at promoting Latin American culture in Western Europe and raising funds for development projects in the region. He also worked for 10 years in marketing and advertisement at P&G where he managed brands in Latin America and Western Europe. As Global Director, Mauricio’s focus is to grow CDI’s organisation across the world, attract both private / public investment and develop new delivery platforms such as smart phones.
Olivier Kayser, (Trustee) HYSTRA, Founder and Managing Director
In January 2009, Olivier founded Hystra, a global consulting firm that works with business and social sector pioneers to implement hybrid strategies and innovative business approaches that are profitable and scalable. Hystra’s first five clients were among the top 20 largest French corporations. From 2003 to 2008, Olivier was Vice-President Europe of Ashoka, a global not-for-profit organisation supporting social entrepreneurs. Before joining Ashoka, Olivier was a senior partner at McKinsey & Company.
Miguel Pestana, (Trustee) Unilever, Vice President Global External Affairs
Miguel has been Vice-President of Global External Affairs at Unilever since 2006 and is responsible for managing engagement with global stakeholders as well as global issues and crisis management. He first joined Unilever in November 2001 when he helped to establish their EU Public Affairs office in Brussels. He has more than 20 years of communications and public affairs experience.
Bryan Jones, (Trustee) Dell, Executive Director of Europe Marketing
Bryan has spent over 20 years in the technology industry, the last 13 with Dell focusing on Dell’s Enterprise offerings. He is the Executive Director of Europe Marketing and Global Data Centre Marketing. Bryan meets with IT professionals around the world to understand the changing needs of today’s IT environment and how Dell’s strategy and vision around driving the Efficient Enterprise can help meet those needs.

Stephen Brenninkmeijer (Advisor) Anthos and Board member of the Schwab Foundation
Descendent of the founders of the European retail clothing chain C&A, Stephen earned his degree at the European Business School in Germany and has considerable experience in the operational and retail sectors, working for C&A in continental Europe, Japan and the UK. This, however, is just one side of his professional experience. For many years, Stephen has actively supported different projects in education and entrepreneurship land he is also a member of different foundations related to social responsibility.
